 Props

In the modern marching band world many groups turn to props to enhance their story telling. Whether it’s marching band props, color guard props, indoor drumline props or drum corps your imagination is your only limitation! You will be amazed at what you can do to bring your shows to life using our prop materials and the help of our design team.

Attach them to our frames or design your props and cover them with custom vinyl or fabric! Options galore are here to help your group achieve the visual identity you desire!

Want to see our props in action? Check out the 2023 Bluecoats Props and the upcoming 2024 Bluecoats Props for a view of what your field could look like with DPG!

Vinyl

Our prop vinyl comes in 9oz, 13oz, or 15oz weights. Talk with an account executive today about which one works best for your show.

The 2019 Blue Devils used our non-skid laminate coated vinyl on their multi-use props for a versatile look that was safe for performers in all kinds of weather.

These 13oz custom vinyl props were fit to POW Percussion’s frames for a stunning backdrop in the arena.

Mesh Vinyl

Our mesh vinyl is a great way to cover large props without any worries of wind resistance. Mesh vinyl is particularly suited for outdoors, but can also provide a unique, opaque look on any frame.

The 2019 Genesis Drum & Bugle Corps used our Mesh Vinyl to cover their unique custom-built ladder props. Learn more about how their prop designer worked with our designers for a perfect fit.

Field Poly

Our Field Poly Fabric is a versatile fabric that can do all sorts of things indoors and out. Field Poly is used for flyovers, banners, and prop covers made to fit specific shapes or frames.

The 2019 Crossmen used an oversized Field Poly prop to add spectacular color to the end of their show!

Field Poly makes a great banner! Check out our work in Lucas Oil Stadium at the Drum Corps International World Championships, which features a DPG Field Poly Banner as the backdrop to your favorite corps!

Field Tension Fabric

Field Tension Fabric is a great option for props of all sizes and shapes. Use it in place of vinyl for a smoother, lighter look and feel that adapts to different shapes of frames.

The 2019 Crossmen used Field Tension Fabric to wrap their round, moving stages, and covered the tops with a non-skid laminate to make them safe in all kinds of conditions.

The 2019 Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble filled the arena with their vibrant phoenix printed on Field Tension Fabric and fit on their frames using pole pockets.

Coroplast

Coroplast is a rigid, corrugated plastic that works great for durable yard signs, but can also be transformed into interesting prop shapes with a little imagination! Coroplast is waterproof and stain-resistant, and so lightweight your prop dads will be thanking you all season!

Westwood HS from Austin, TX used coroplast and a lot of planning to build these intricate star shapes for their 2018 field show. Learn more about how their prop designer worked with our designers for a perfect fit.

Lovejoy HS from Lucas, TX used coroplast props for their entire front sideline in 2019!
